Business in Wellingborough

The need for a Chamber of Commerce......

Even more so now, in this fast moving and ever changing business climate, the Wellingborough Chamber is at the heart of local matters, established, progressive, knowledgeable and in the forefront of the business community.

Members are drawn from a wide range of business backgrounds, manufacturing, technical, retail and service, each playing their part in promoting business in Wellingborough, the surrounding district and far beyond, for the benefit of all.

The Chamber is recognised as the representative body for all businesses in and around Wellingborough irrespective of size of operation, by local authorities, government departments, politicians and other agencies that are crucial to the inter-action between business, commerce and the county's economy.

The Chambers role within the Business Community....

The Chamber monitors local issues, collecting data and information that has direct impact on Chamber members and their business activities.  It listens to members, their needs and concerns and acts on their behalf when confronted with contraversial issues.  It lobbies local and national politicians, and organisations to encourage action to benefit Wellingborough and District businesses and the community as a whole.

The Chamber maintains media contacts to help inform members and others, providing a platform for the business viewpoint as a non political organsiation.  You have access to all Chamber members via this site.
