From 1979 to 1995 I owned a company called Formula Services. During that time I was a member of the Chamber. This company was heavily involved in the world of Motor Racing, looking after young racing drivers and racing teams, by arranging everything they needed to go motor racing. We also looked after a couple of British and European Championships, as well as having a Hospitality Suite at Brands Hatch. During that period we employed up to 8 people. Due to the changing politics within the sport, sadly, I decided to close the company in 1995.
In 1996 I joined a small local business which manufactured products for the construction industry, and assisted them to grow the business. I remained with that company for over 12 years until it was time for the parting of the ways!
Since April 2008, I have been a very active Utility Warehouse Authorised Distributor, helping many people to save in excess of £800.00 per annum on their Domestic and Business Telephone, Broadband, Mobile Phones, Gas and Electric, as well as on 5% or more on shopping and petrol.
We have also been extremely instrumental to helping my husband Rob Adaway, set up his new business – Rob Adaway Structural Solutions.
